100 years from now
I hope my words grace the tongues

yearning to speak their truth
________
100 years from now
with tea and fresh flowers

the words, steadying their day
________
100 years from now
on yellowed paper and bent pages
tucked away between their favorites
words, adored and well read
________
100 years from now
scribbled in the margins

unspoken wishes
________
100 years from now
I hope they quote me to their lovers
in secret letters, from beneath balconies
and at Cathedral aisles end
________
